Biopsy is a medical test commonly performed by a surgeon, interventional radiologist, or an interventional cardiologist involving the removal of a tissue sample from a living body for the purpose of diagnostic examination .This procedure must be included where a suspected lesion may present. There are various biopsy techniques that are available for the oral pathology. The results of biopsy could take a week or 10 days; if the results didn’t match with the clinical examination, the biopsy must be repeated.
